The EIT eLibrary offers a range of personal and academic student support services that are designed to help you get your studies off to a great start and foster your success through the duration of your program.
Learning Support Officers:
Underpinning the success of EIT are our Learning Support Officers (LSOs), who play a key role in helping students succeed in their studies. The LSOs are your trusted advisors and provide guidance and encouragement on your learning journey. They are with you every step of the way.
Who is my LSO?
VET:
If you are studying a VET program, you will have a dedicated LSO for the entirety of your course. If you already have access to your Moodle course page, the name and contact details of your LSO can be found at the top of the page under “Welcome”.
If you do not have access to Moodle yet, your LSO will be in touch ahead of your course start date. If you have an urgent query about the course you are enrolled in, but it hasn’t yet started, please contact [email protected].
Higher Education:
If you are studying a Higher Education program, you will have one LSO per unit of study. This means that you have may have multiple LSOs in a study period. If you have access to your Moodle unit page, the name and contact details of your LSO can be found at the top of the page under “Welcome and Contact Information”.
If you do not have access to Moodle yet, your LSO will be in touch ahead of your unit start date. If you have an urgent query, you can contact the HE team at any time: [email protected].

Our class sizes are small to allow you to build rapport with lecturers and fellow students. This enables you to ask questions and seek clarity when needed.
We also provide mathematics support and English language assistance to help with speaking and writing skills.

If you are studying a VET program, you will have a dedicated instructor for each module/unit of your course. Some instructors teach multiple units/modules, so you may have them more than once.
On your Moodle course page, the name and contact details of your instructor can be found under each unit/module drop-down.
Higher Education:
If you are studying a Higher Education program, you will have one lecturer per unit of study. Some lecturers teach multiple units, so you may have them more than once.

If you need additional academic support during your studies, EIT’s team of Academics, Course Coordinators, Lead Lecturers, and Lecturers are available to provide academic counselling.

Tech Support:
If you’ve forgotten your password or are having trouble accessing the student management system, learning platform, or remote and virtual labs, we’re here to help.
Your Learning Support Officer (LSO) is your first point of contact for technical support and will liaise with EIT’s IT department if further assistance is needed.
For issues specifically related to remote labs, please use the button below to complete the support form. Your request will be sent directly to EIT’s Remote Lab Support Team.
Student Services:
For our on-campus and online Higher Education students, our Student Services Team is committed to creating a supportive learning environment appropriate to the age, stage, background, and circumstances of our diverse student population. We encourage you to discuss your personal support needs prior to commencing a program and at any time throughout your studies.
We provide dedicated pastoral care to support your overall wellbeing, alongside sensitive and respectful assistance, and can refer you to external professionals where appropriate.
