Institutional Repository

The EIT Institutional Repository is a digital archive that showcases the academic output and scholarly contributions of our student and staff community. It serves as a central hub for storing, managing, and preserving a variety of research and learning materials produced within the institution.

The repository includes:

  • Graduate thesis papers submitted as part of final-year project requirements
  • A collection of in-house publications from our sister company, IDC Technologies
  • Selected academic staff publications and research outputs
  • Details of textbooks available from the Perth campus library

Please note that our repository is not open access. Access is restricted to current students and staff of EIT. If you require assistance or wish to request access to specific materials, please contact the library team.

As part of their final year of study, all graduating students participating in a master’s course at EIT complete a major thesis project. These theses represent the culmination of months of independent research, critical thinking, and applied engineering skills, and cover a wide range of topics across our core disciplines.

We are proud to showcase this work through our institutional repository, where completed graduate theses are published and preserved for academic reference. This collection provides valuable insight into emerging areas of interest, innovative problem-solving approaches, and the academic strengths of our student body.

Students and staff are invited to explore the repository to view past theses and gain inspiration for future projects.

Welcome to the Textbooks section of our eLibrary, where you can find a selection of core and supplementary textbooks relevant to the engineering courses we offer. While not all textbooks are available electronically, we strive to provide access to key titles that support your learning and coursework.

We encourage you to explore the available resources from the library subscriptions and reach out to the library team if you need assistance or are looking for specific materials.

All Higher Education courses at EIT have an associated core textbook, or textbooks, for each unit of study. To find your core textbook and any other recommended resources, please view your Unit Outline.

Alternatively, the core readings relevant to your unit of study can be found on your unit’s Readings Guide.

For Higher Education students, your Moodle page will advise if the unit’s core textbook(s) is available from the eLibrary. Please see the details in the “Readings and Resources” section.

Alternatively, use the search bar at the top of this page to search the full eLibrary.

A few of the core textbooks assigned in EIT’s Higher Education courses can be found via the Knovel eLibrary subscription. Use the search bar at the top of this page to see if your book is available electronically, or search directly on the Knovel platform.

Borrowing is available from our Perth Campus. The library of core textbooks can be found on the ground floor. Please speak to one of our staff before borrowing.
