Knovel is a trusted resource for hundreds of thousands of professors, researchers and students at top engineering schools worldwide for chemical, mechanical, aeronautical, and manufacturing engineering.

Register for an EIT Knovel account: 

Knovel recently changed their access process. Even if you previously had an account, you will be required to re-register in order to access EIT’s collection. 

This is a two-step process outlined below:

1. Register and confirm your EIT email address

You will start with this welcome screen. 

Enter your EIT email address. You may be prompted to register if you haven’t done so already: 

You must use your EIT email address. Once complete, you will receive an email to this inbox asking to confirm your email. 

Follow the prompts. You may be asked to authenticate your account with SSO. If so, you will see this screen: 

If so, follow the prompts to sign into Microsoft 365: 

2. Validate your account and associate it with EIT (first-time registrations only) 

You may need to associate your registered account with EIT. Click “Check Access”. 

Search for the Engineering Institute of Technology. Once selected, enter your EIT email address and click “Continue”. 

You will receive a final email to confirm this association. 

Once you are logged in, the final step to complete registration is to accept the Knovel Terms & Conditions. You may be prompted to authenticate using Microsoft 365 SSO. Follow the prompts if so:
