Intertek Inform Standards
Intertek Inform (previously Intertek SAI Global) is a world-leading risk and compliance company born out of Standards. Intertek Inform has developed an online platform, i2i, that allows EIT to subscribe to a collection of Standards on behalf of our students.
Current students can access the i2i platform by clicking the link above and logging in using your EIT email address. If you haven’t accessed i2i yet, you will need to register for an account using your EIT email address in order to access EIT’s subscription.
Note: Only students with an EIT email can register for an account.

How to Do a Basic Search
The i2i platform has a simple, user-friendly interface. To search for a Standard, simply type it into the search box upon login.
Alternatively, you can browse the list of Standards available. EIT has access to a number of Standards relevant to our courses. This includes a small collection of Australian Standards as well as some IEEE Standards.
To view the EIT collection, click ‘Collections’ in the top-right of your screen.
How to View and Download Standards:
There are two options to view the Standards – View Online or Download.
SAI Global supplies Standards from many different publishers. Some publishers have specific requirements around the way their intellectual property is distributed and how their copyright is protected. As a result, SAI Global has implemented technology to meet the publisher requirements and not commit unintended copyright license violations.
You will only be able to access Digital Rights Management (DRM) protected PDFs by using a supported PDF reader (or app for your mobile device). This will need to be installed on your computer or device.
- Adobe Reader can be downloaded for free here.
- FileOpen plugin for Windows/Mac/Linux and FileOpen View for iOS/Android can be downloaded for free here.
